A veterinary radiologist is a doctor trained in the use of advanced diagnostic imaging technology and techniques that can aid in the diagnosis and proper treatment of many serious diseases. Some seek board certification in areas of special expertise, such as radiation oncology. Specialty accreditaion is granted by the American College of Veterinary Radiologists.
